This hotel is wonderful, it's beyond our expectation, we had 2 bedroom suites, which was specious and comfort, love the amenities, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use any of them. I would recommend to stay here for at least five days.

The most stand out thing about this Fairmont is the staff. Very friendly, polite and helpful. We were at Fairmont Mayakoba earlier this year - they need to come to Hawaii for training.

We had an excellent 3 night stay at Mauna Lani Bay Hotel. We chose it for its location on the Kona side of the island, but off of 'resort row'. After a very long travel day, it was wonderful to be welcomed Hawaiian style with a shell and kukui nut lei, fresh fruit juice and cold towels. We then were fortunate to be upgraded from a garden view room to an ocean view! Alo-ha!!! Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to relax. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Contactless check in and out, we picked up our key in an after hours box. We found the staff kind and helpful when needed. Nothing fancy but clean and had great views of the valley. Quiet hotel that is suitable for guests looking for budget friendly option in a central location. Grocery store, Starbucks, restaurants all in walking distance.
